recently, i’ve been typing out ideas for short stories and what not. i don’t let them retreat into the background of my mind anymore and this has been making me feel kind of ecstatic actually. the whole shame of writer’s block has been washing off of me so quickly that i’m just so content with how my ideas turn out. how it usually goes for me is a little bit bizarre in that, whenever i think of an idea, i immediately pull out my iphone and just type it out in my notes. so far, i’ve compiled about 7 notes with a paragraph of one conclusive idea. (also, i just want to thank every single person that messages me with high regards to the stuff i make because it really does mean so much to me. for every single message i get from you guys, i just fall head over heels yet again and adore you all that much more. your gratification means so much to me)

i’ve been thinking of picking up a typewriter. i’m well aware that the whole concept of a typewriter seems rather outdated but i’ve always been so fascinated by them. the way the words look when they’ve all been compiled together with those scuffs of ink just represents the idea of a perfect novella in my eyes. it would be a costly affair, sadly so i think i’ll start saving up money just to go out one day and pick one up. i would start working on my handwriting but at this rate, what’s the point anymore? from the articles i’ve read, it seems like the whole notion of literal written word may end up completely replaced by the pixels of typed sonnet and font-specific opinions.
